In this role, you will serve as a hybrid creative leader, combining bold art direction, compelling storytelling, and refined design expertise to shape and elevate brand expression. You will oversee the creation of culturally relevant and innovative campaigns across lifestyle and performance categories, guiding projects from concept through final delivery. The position involves managing both internal creative teams and external partners while fostering alignment across marketing, design, and production functions. You will mentor and inspire team members, promoting excellence in craft and brand consistency across touchpoints. The role requires balancing creative vision with operational rigor, ensuring high-quality outputs under tight deadlines. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and staying ahead of cultural and design trends are central to driving meaningful engagement with the target audience. This is a high-impact position where your leadership will directly influence brand presence and consumer experience across North America.
Accountabilities:
- Lead creative projects from initial brief to final delivery across campaigns, collaborations, social, and experiential initiatives.
- Oversee and manage in-house and freelance creative resources, ensuring timely production of high-quality assets.
- Provide art direction, design expertise, and storytelling guidance across all creative outputs.
- Adapt global creative toolkits into culturally relevant regional assets that maintain brand consistency.
- Mentor and inspire internal creative teams while collaborating with external agency partners.
- Balance creative vision with operational processes, timelines, and resource management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to translate business needs into impactful consumer experiences.
- Stay current with cultural and design trends to ensure modern, relevant, and resonant creative work.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years in agency or in-house creative roles, with at least 5 years in senior leadership positions.
- 5+ years’ experience directing photography and extensive design experience across print, digital, retail, events, and experiential mediums.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in typography, visual storytelling, and art direction for photo and video.
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat), and Microsoft Office.
- Proven ability to lead integrated campaigns that resonate with target audiences, particularly Gen Z and Millennials.
- Inspirational leadership and mentoring skills, fostering team growth and creativity.
- Strategic thinker with excellent communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Cultural awareness and passion for lifestyle, performance, and fashion trends relevant to the consumer.
- Experience managing creative agencies, production partners, and multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced environments.
