Job Tittle:                   CAD Drafter

Shift:                           Monday to Friday 6:00 am - 3:00 pm

Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Design Engineer, design and detail product component and assembly drawings.  The CAD Drafter is also responsible for all new product drawings, modification to existing products and all assembly tooling prints.

Functions:

  1. Works with the Design Engineer on Preliminary product design.  The draftsman is responsible for detailing of the prints.
  2. To provide drafting support for all other departments.
  3. To keep abreast of new technology in the CAD industry.
  4. Coordinate with the Engineering Mgr. on CAD networking and drafting standards.
  5. Assigning Engineering Change Notice (ECN) per each revision on drawings and route to appropriate departments.
  6. Is responsible for on-time delivery and quality of all drafting requests.

Requirements: 

  • Drafter Technician, Toolmaker, Bachelor's degree in Electromechanical Engineering or in progress or related field.
  • 3 – 5 Years’ experience in a design & manufacturing environment designing products or tooling.
  • English  Technical Medium level.
  • Experience with SolidWorks and AutoCad is required. 
  • Must be able to sit or stand for more than 90 minutes straight & not suffering from any sensory deprivation and/or paralysis of the limbs.
