What you’d be doing in this role
Content Strategy & Creative Direction
Develop a compelling creative vision for Canva’s content library in Korea – shaping the direction for templates, elements, and core design assets that resonate locally while aligning with global strategy to drive active user growth.
Translate country and regional strategies into actionable content plans and locally relevant campaigns.
Drive experimentation and content innovation, supporting new product formats and emerging trends to keep creative outputs fresh and competitive.
Content Creation & Curation
Oversee end-to-end content creation, including design kits, campaign documents, creator briefs, and in-house creative assets.
Curate and editorially frame content for marketing initiatives, in-product showcases, and seasonal moments to elevate local relevance.
Proactively identify content gaps to create and curate assets that reflect strategic priorities and creative excellence.
Lead quality control of all content outputs, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and maintaining high standards of visual and messaging quality.
Content Performance Management
Leverage data, trends, and local insights to shape creative direction, enhance creator and in-house briefs, and inform design decisions.
Continuously audit existing templates and elements to identify improvement areas and opportunities for new content.
Facilitate retrospectives and performance reviews to refine strategies and content effectiveness.
Monitor competitor activity and creative trends across the region to identify new opportunities and maintain strategic edge.
Market Insights & Cultural Expertise
Build and maintain a deep knowledge of local culture, consumer behaviour, and design trends to inform content direction and strategy.
Perform market level content gap analysis, distilling insights into recommendations that guide future content creation and acquisition.
Advocate for the integration of global and underrepresented perspectives in content development and curation, upholding Canva’s commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
Operational Excellence & Stakeholder Collaboration
Set clear, ambitious, and achievable content and creative goals for Korea and translate them into detailed projects with milestones and deliverables.
Monitor project execution, mitigate risks, and escalate challenges when necessary to ensure timely, high-quality outcomes.
Collaborate with local SEO, Marketing, and Country Managers, in partnership with Design Ops Managers, to align on creative goals and content needs, and confidently prioritise and negotiate trade-offs.
Oversee local freelance designers, managing recruitment, briefing, output review, and development.
Communicate initiatives and results to senior leadership, ensuring visibility across stakeholders.

콘텐츠 제작 및 큐레이션
디자인 키트, 캠페인 문서, 크리에이터 브리프, 인하우스 제작물 등 콘텐츠 제작 전 과정을 총괄합니다.
마케팅 활동, 플랫폼 내 쇼케이스, 주요 시즈널 캠페인 등에 필요한 콘텐츠를 큐레이션하고 에디토리얼 관점에서 재구성해 현지 사용자의 니즈에 맞춰 완성도를 높입니다.
콘텐츠 전략에 기반하여 라이브러리 내 부족한 영역을 선제적으로 파악하고, 필요한 에셋을 제작하거나 큐레이션합니다.
모든 콘텐츠가 브랜드 가이드라인을 준수하며 디자인 및 메시징의 퀄리티 기준을 충족하도록 리드합니다.
콘텐츠 퍼포먼스 관리
데이터, 트렌드, 로컬 인사이트를 기반으로 크리에이티브 방향을 잡고, 크리에이터 및 인하우스 팀을 위한 브리프의 완성도를 높이며 디자인 의사결정에 반영합니다.
기존 템플릿과 요소들을 지속적으로 점검해 개선이 필요한 부분과 신규 콘텐츠 기회 영역을 발굴합니다.
퍼포먼스 리뷰를 주기적으로 진행하여 콘텐츠의 사용도를 지속적으로 강화합니다.
경쟁사 활동과 현지 크리에이티브 트렌드를 모니터링하여 새로운 기회를 포착하고 전략적 우위를 유지합니다.
시장 인사이트 & 컬쳐 전문성
로컬 문화, 소비자 행동, 디자인 트렌드 전반에 대한 깊이 있는 이해를 구축하고 유지하여 콘텐츠 방향성과 전략 수립에 반영합니다.
시장 단위의 콘텐츠 적정성 분석을 진행하여 인사이트를 도출하고 향후 콘텐츠 제작 및 라이센싱 전략에 반영합니다.
캔바의 다양성, 형평성, 포용성(DEI) 가치가 콘텐츠 방향에 반영될 수 있도록 열린 사고와 마인드를 발휘합니다.
운영 역량 & 이해관계자 협업
한국 시장을 위한 명확하고 도전적이며 달성 가능한 콘텐츠 및 크리에이티브 목표를 설정하고, 이를 마일스톤과 결과물이 있는 구체적 프로젝트 타임라인으로 구축합니다.
프로젝트 진행 상황을 모니터링하고 리스크를 관리하며 필요 시 문제를 적극적으로 해결해 타임라인 내 높은 품질의 결과물이 나올 수 있도록 합니다.
로컬 및 글로벌의 다양한 팀과 긴밀히 협업하여 콘텐츠 목표와 니즈를 정렬하고, 우선순위를 명확하게 설정, 소통합니다.
