Job Description

The Creative Production Designer is a key collaborator within the Creative Studio, responsible for developing and executing high-quality, on-brand creative assets across all platforms to support business objectives and elevate the customer experience based in style guide and tool kits. They work closely with studio and cross-functional partners to ensure every rollout is consistent, accurate, and aligned with both business needs and brand guidelines—delivering final outputs on time and on budget

  • Delivers high-quality, on-brand, production-ready assets on time and within budget
  • Applies brand systems and guidelines consistently
  • Incorporates feedback and contributes to workflow efficiency
  • Maintains organized, accessible design files in accordance with studio standards
  • Keeps creative execution current by integrating relevant trends and best practices when applicable

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Functional

  • Produces high-quality, brand-aligned design work that meets project objectives across a variety of platforms and formats
  • Prepares and finalizes creative assets for delivery, ensuring accuracy, file readiness, and adherence to timelines
  • Communicates clearly and applies feedback effectively to improve design outcomes
  • Applies established design systems, templates, and brand guidelines to maintain consistency across deliverables
  • Organizes design files and documentation according to studio standards and workflows
  • Remains aware of emerging design and media trends to support fresh, relevant execution when appropriate
  • Supports efficiency by flagging opportunities to streamline production processes and improve output quality

People

  • Collaborate with others to develop flexible, iterative design solutions that adapt to project needs and align with strategic goals
  • Contribute to a culture of learning by sharing design knowledge and actively seeking input from peers and subject matter experts
  • Actively participate in team discussions, critiques, and reviews; contribute ideas and feedback that support collective progress and creative alignment

Qualifications

Work Experience / Education / Certifications

  • Post-secondary degree in a digital arts program or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an agency or in-house creative shop

Tools

  • Extensive knowledge and experience in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Advanced use of Figma
  • Knowledge of SketchUp is an asset

Competencies / Skills / Attributes

  • Strong visual instincts in typography, layout, colour, and motion to support creative intent
  • Solid working ability in graphic design and typography
  • Strong attention to detail and professionalism in day-to-day work
  • Able to manage workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Adaptable and efficient under pressure
  • Ability to produce accurate, production-ready final art for three-dimensional physical environments
  • Foundational understanding of UX/UI, accessibility, and responsive design principles
  • Awareness of industry standards and best practices for retail design and development
  • Clear and organized communicator
  • Collaborative, receptive to feedback, and focused on learning and growth
  • Applies practical problem-solving to support design execution
  • Demonstrates curiosity and stays informed on design trends when relevant to execution
