Designer - WBC (Seasonal)

The Designer, World Baseball Classic assists and produces graphic design initiatives in conjunction with appropriate World Baseball Classic requests and consistent with their marketing plans

Requirements:

  • Sales promotion and presentation materials
  • Venue ballpark graphics
  • Communication and collateral materials
  • Logo and style guide development
  • Exhibit environmental design
  • Retail marketing and point-of-purchase design

Create design solutions, including:

  • Venue mock-ups for design evaluation and sponsor integration
  • Tickets, invitations, and collateral materials
  • Creation and production of graphic standards
  • Sponsor logo composites
  • Graphic templates
  • Photo editing - pre and post production work

Assist in the development of creative event management:

  • Evaluation of creative executions
  • Design inspiration boards
  • Creation of creative communication presentation materials (i.e. concept boards, product comps, and presentation decks)
  • Design direction to outside supplies and vendors
  • Budget and timeline management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts or related discipline.  Graduate degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ graphic design experience
  • Understanding of graphic design, post production, and printing
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Familiar with PowerPoint/Keynote, Word, and Excel

Pay Range: $62,000 - $67,500 per year

The actual offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your work experience, education, skills, and any other factors MLB considers relevant to the hiring decision.
