The Team You’ll Work With:
The Mayor's Office of Creative Communications is responsible for generating digital content that represents Mayoral policy and its impact on everyday New Yorkers. The team utilizes digital media to tell a unique story of City Hall and the City of New York through live social media coverage, official photos, videos, graphics, and more. The role involves assisting with daily social media content creation for multiple platforms and voices, with a special focus on the @nycgov, @nycmayor, and @nycmayorsoffice Instagram channels. The position requires a combination of education and experience, with at least one year of experience in administration, research, management, analytical work, community work, or community activities. Candidates must also have a background in political communications, marketing, or social media.

You are a hardworking graphic designer who takes initiative and is fluent in branding and innovative visual communications.
You have familiarity with: Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and UX/UI design principles.
1. Do you have a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university?
2. Do you have an associate degree from an accredited college or university along with two (2) years of experience with administrative, analytic, coordinative, supervisory or liaison responsibilities?
3. Do you have a four-year high school diploma, or its educational equivalent approved by a state's Department of Education or a recognized accrediting organization along with four (4) years of experience as described in question "2" above?
4. Do you have a satisfactory combination of education and/or experience equivalent to that described in questions "1," "2," and/or "3" above?
