Role Summary
MetaPhase supports a federal strategic communications and training section responsible for delivering policy-informed messaging, targeted training, and public-facing communications aligned to regulatory standards and national security priorities. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop visually engaging, accessible design products that support stakeholder awareness, program compliance, and effective communication across the program.
In support of this project, MetaPhase is seeking a Graphic Designer with at least three (3) years of relevant experience to design and produce visual materials that communicate key messages to internal and external stakeholders. The Graphic Designer will work closely with sub-teams to create high-quality collateral for digital, web, social media, and print distribution. This role requires strong attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to manage multiple design requests while ensuring consistency with brand standards and federal communication requirements. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of graphic design expertise and basic content development skills to support fast-paced communications and outreach needs in a federal environment.
What You Will Be Doing
- Support the creation and formatting of newsletters, web updates, fact sheets, and outreach materials to ensure consistency in messaging and visual presentation.
- Design and produce visual collateral materials to support internal and external communications, including one-pagers, website graphics, PowerPoint templates, annual reports, placemats, challenge coins, and other outreach materials.
- Develop graphics and visual content for distribution via websites, social media platforms, email campaigns, and print communications in support of program initiatives.
- Select appropriate images, layouts, and visual elements to effectively communicate complex information to diverse stakeholder audiences.
- Ensure all visual products align with established brand standards, accessibility requirements, and federal communication guidelines.
- Manage multiple design requests simultaneously, incorporating stakeholder feedback and delivering high-quality products within established timelines.
What We Need From You (Required)
- Minimum of five (3) years of relevant experience in graphic design supporting communications, outreach, training, or public-facing programs.
- Experience designing materials that comply with Section 508 accessibility requirements, including accessible color contrast, document structure, and alternative text for images.
- Experience supporting communications teams with both visual design and basic content development or formatting.
- Demonstrated experience designing a variety of communications materials, including digital content, presentations, reports, and print collateral.
- Proficiency with graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) or comparable software.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, visually consistent deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and respond to evolving program needs.

Compensation
- Compensation decisions are dependent of the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $70,000-$90,000.
