We are seeking a Lead Brand Designer to guide our inhouse Brand Design team and ensure our creative output is consistently aligned, intentional, and unmistakably “us.” This role blends hands-on design excellence with studio leadership, operational rigor, and brand stewardship across the company. This position is remote with occasional travel to the Varonis office in Raleigh, NC, and industry tradeshows.
We are a tight-knit, driven team of in-house creatives in growth mode, shaping and expanding our brand universe, designing the stories, systems, and experiences that define who we are.
• 7+ years’ experience in brand design roles, with at least one year of people management
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality, multi-faceted design projects, with an exceptional public-facing portfolio
• Demonstrated experience managing external creative partners and vendors
• Strong project manager, capable of prioritizing effectively, structuring projects for success, designing creative briefs, meeting tight deadlines, and managing stakeholder expectations
• A passion for taking risks and experimenting with new and unique ways to represent an enterprise brand
• A commitment to operational excellence, design systems, and scalable brand frameworks
• Excellent organizational skills and rigorous attention to detail
• Experience managing and developing designers, with the ability to provide clear coaching, set expectations, and foster a healthy, high‑performing creative team
• Experience using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Figma
• Bonus (but not required): Experience with Canva, Descript, After Effects, 3D design, Powerpoint
