Lead Product Designer

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Lead Product Designer in United States.

We are seeking a creative and strategic UX/UI leader to shape impactful digital experiences. In this role, you will lead the end-to-end design process, translating high-level objectives into actionable strategies while driving user-centered research and innovation. You will collaborate across teams, engage with pilot programs, and continuously iterate on prototypes to deliver intuitive, data-driven solutions. This role offers the opportunity to influence product direction, integrate cutting-edge AI tools into design workflows, and work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your contributions have a tangible impact on users’ daily experiences.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead product design initiatives from research to prototyping, defining actionable UX strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to uncover user and customer insights, creating personas, journey maps, and opportunity areas.
  • Design and iterate user experiences, building flows and prototypes using modern UX tools.
  • Test and refine prototypes with users and clients to ensure validated, high-quality solutions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally, proactively driving product success beyond individual projects.
  • Stay current with UX trends and AI-driven design tools to continuously improve workflows and outputs.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in UX/UI design and UX research, ideally in both startup and larger organization settings.
  • Strong strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution skills from problem definition to tested solutions.
  • Proven ability to thrive in ambiguous, collaborative environments, creating clarity for teams.
  • Broad UX expertise: qualitative & quantitative research, personas, journey mapping, UI design, and prototyping.
  • Self-driven and proactive mindset, opportunity-oriented rather than task-based.
  • Strong technical skills (Figma, Miro, Maze, Condense, or similar) and enthusiasm for AI in UX.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% for user research and stakeholder sessions.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written) with a valid passport.
  • Bonus: interest in health, fitness, or behavioral science.

Benefits:

  • Competitive annual salary: $90,000 – $110,000.
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • 401k plan with company match.
  • Monthly wellness, phone, and internet stipends.
  • 14 paid holidays and generous PTO.
  • Opportunity to shape products with direct user impact.
  • Inclusive, modern, and international work culture.
  • Continuous learning through challenging projects, feedback, and knowledge sharing.
