Your position in our team
- As a Lead Product Designer, you will shape how design is executed and scaled across Sport Alliance’s product ecosystem. You’ll take ownership of complex, end-to-end initiatives — ensuring clarity of direction, reliable delivery, and a consistent, high-quality user experience across platforms. Your role goes beyond exceptional craft: you’ll lead by structure. You’ll strengthen our design system, align design with Product and Engineering, and mentor designers to work with confidence, precision, and impact. You’ll help define how design operates — making our processes faster, clearer, and more scalable as we grow. You’ll advocate for a data-informed design culture, using user insights and analytics to validate decisions, uncover opportunities, and continuously improve usability and performance.
- What you’ll do
- Lead design execution for complex features and projects, ensuring quality, consistency, and timely delivery across teams.
- Partner closely with Product Managers and Engineers to align on scope, requirements, and trade-offs early, ensuring shared ownership of outcomes.
- Make design decisions based on data and insights — combining analytics, usability testing, and user feedback to validate and refine solutions.
- Drive the evolution of our Design System, defining structure, documentation, and governance in collaboration with designers and engineers.
- Establish scalable design workflows — including QA standards, handoff procedures, and feedback rituals — that raise the quality bar across squads.
- Mentor and support other designers, helping them grow in craft, process ownership, and data-informed thinking.
- Promote collaboration and alignment by facilitating workshops, design reviews, and cross-functional discussions.
- Integrate AI and emerging technologies into design workflows to accelerate ideation, prototyping, and system evolution.
Your profile
- Proven experience leading product design at scale, ideally across multiple squads or product areas.
- Hands-on mentality — able to translate complexity into clear, testable, and feasible solutions.
- Data-informed decision-maker — experienced using analytics, usability testing, and user feedback to drive iteration.
- Deep understanding of design systems and how to evolve them across teams and technologies.
- Structured communicator and collaborator who builds trust with PMs, engineers, and designers alike.
- Passion for design operations and process optimization — ensuring design work scales effectively.
- Strong visual and interaction design skills with attention to detail and a systems-thinking mindset.
- Skilled in Figma, prototyping, and design documentation; experience with component governance and versioning.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required — it’s our company language across all teams.
- Bonus: hands-on experience using AI for rapid prototyping, interaction testing, and user validation.
