Alongside our global campuses, we also collaborate with talented contractors and freelancers from all over the world to help us achieve our crazy big goals. While we support flexible, remote-friendly ways of working, for this role we’re focusing on Madrid so we can best support our teams and keep collaboration flowing.
This role is a 6 month engagement, working full-time hours.
About the Role
As a Copywriter, you’ll craft clear, compelling, and locally relevant content for performance marketing campaigns, Meta ad creatives, high-impact partnerships and campaigns. You'll work on evergreen initiatives to ensure a seamless flow of messaging between markets. Please note, this role requires fluency in Spanish, with professional level English. Collaborating closely with designers and marketers, you’ll help shape Canva’s voice in Europe and bring creative ideas to life.

Marketing’s mission at Canva is for Canva to become “the most loved brand in the world”. Canva’s International Marketing Group is a diverse and distributed group of marketers who take this mission forward to drive user growth, brand awareness, and affinity in our priority international markets.
As part of the International Marketing Group, our Growth Marketing team drives Canva's growth by blending global strategies with hyperlocal insights. We aim to create meaningful connections with users in Europe regional campaigns, localised moments, and evergreen creative initiatives across a variety of functions - performance marketing, brand, events, partnerships, social, community engagement and other growth channels.
