We are looking for:
The Producer (Linear/FAST) leads the development and execution of programming and live streaming content for shoppable Linear/FAST channels. This role is responsible for overseeing projects from concept through final delivery, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, maintaining editorial standards, and delivering high-quality content within established budgets and timelines.
The Producer supports in executing the creative direction, manages production workflows, evaluates pitches, and guides on-air talent and creators. This role holds accountability for production planning, resource allocation, and cross-functional alignment to ensure seamless execution across content, marketing, sales, and operations. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, the Producer serves as a production authority within the team, proactively identifying risks, resolving production challenges, and upholding operational and editorial excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Direct oversight of live stream productions in partnership with Studio Operations and Linear Operations, ensuring seamless execution and broadcast readiness.
- Operationalize and execute on creative briefs for new projects, translating strategic objectives into actionable production plans within approved scope and budget.
- Support on creative development and production execution from ideation through final delivery, including pitching concepts, scripting, casting, producing talent, and delivering actionable show notes.
- Govern and evaluate the creative pitch pipeline from creators, external production companies, and internal stakeholders, selecting and advancing concepts aligned with channel strategy.
- Maintain full accountability for delivering high-quality programming on schedule and within financial parameters, aligning cross-functional stakeholders across content, marketing, sales, and operations.
- Provide editorial leadership to live streaming creators, elevating content quality, technical execution, scheduling discipline, onboarding processes, product selection, and overall production value.
- Diagnose production challenges and implement solutions across all phases of development and execution, ensuring creative integrity and operational continuity.
- Conceptualize, script, and produce marketing and promotional assets, including on-channel promos and social media content that drive audience engagement and conversion.
- Develop and manage comprehensive production resource plans and budgets; oversee allocation of internal and external production resources to ensure efficient utilization.
- Serve as the primary production lead between internal teams and external partners, ensuring alignment, clarity of deliverables, and executional excellence.
- Proactively manage individual project portfolios, anticipating risks, resolving issues, and ensuring successful client delivery.
This role does not have direct reports but may provide on-set leadership and creative direction to production teams, freelancers, and talent as required.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, or related field
- 6+ years of experience producing content for broadcast and/or streaming platforms
- Demonstrated expertise in live production, FAST channels, or shoppable media formats
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, high-visibility production environments
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing production budgets and resource plans
- Advanced organizational and time management capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent productions under tight deadlines
- Strong leadership presence and ability to direct cross-functional teams
- High level of autonomy, accountability, and creative decision-making authority
- Deep knowledge of and passion for the entertainment and digital media landscape.
- Occasional evenings and weekends may be required based on production schedules.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Ability to lead creative development and production execution in a fast-paced, deadline-driven broadcast and streaming environment.
- Strong client service orientation, with demonstrated accountability and the ability to build and maintain trusted stakeholder relationships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills when interfacing with talent, creators, cross-functional teams, and client partners.
- Proven leadership presence with the ability to direct production teams and provide clear, constructive creative guidance.
- Ability to proactively identify and resolve production challenges, including managing interpersonal dynamics during live and recorded productions.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple concurrent productions.
- Willingness and ability to travel as required to support production needs.
Compensation:
This temporary contract role offers a salary of $120,000-150,000 depending on experience.
