This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of a widely-used digital platform, working directly with cross-functional teams to enhance the product experience for healthcare providers and their patients. You will contribute to the product vision, design strategy, and end-to-end user experience while navigating complex workflows and technical systems. This position allows for a balance of independent ownership and collaboration across product, engineering, and research teams. You will leverage design systems, customer insights, and modern design tools to deliver intuitive, accessible, and data-informed solutions. Ideal candidates are creative problem-solvers with a strong portfolio, capable of translating user needs into polished, functional designs.
- Accountabilities:
- Design and evolve intuitive, responsive user experiences across web and mobile platforms.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and researchers to define customer problem statements and design solutions.
- Lead and participate in ideation sessions, prototyping, and iterative design cycles.
- Apply design system guidelines to create and optimize reusable components and patterns.
- Conduct customer research, interviews, and usability testing to inform design decisions.
- Synthesize qualitative and quantitative data to drive design improvements and innovation.
- Communicate design rationale clearly to cross-functional stakeholders and advocate for user-centered solutions.
- Explore and integrate AI tools to enhance design efficiency and quality.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience in product design (excluding internships or bootcamps).
- Experience in B2B or B2C design, with SMB or healthcare experience as a plus.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating simplified, intuitive, and responsive user experiences for complex flows.
- Proficiency in UX design, visual/UI design, interaction design, responsive and mobile-native design, rapid prototyping, information architecture, and accessibility.
- Expertise with Figma (including FigJam and FigmaMake) and familiarity with design systems.
- Ability to incorporate data insights into iterative design solutions.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and presentation skills.
- Growth mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
