This role offers the opportunity to shape the user experience of a highly secure software platform used across multiple enterprise and government workflows. The Product Designer will craft intuitive, information-dense interfaces for diverse users, from developers to executive stakeholders, ensuring usability without compromising security. You will lead UX research, prototyping, and high-fidelity design across desktop and mobile applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, efficient, and visually cohesive solutions. This position requires a designer who thrives in high-stakes, technically complex environments, translating complex workflows into user-friendly interfaces. Accountabilities:
- Lead the design of multi-user enterprise applications with complex workflows, ensuring intuitive and accessible interfaces across desktop and mobile platforms.
- Conduct UX research, usability testing, and stakeholder interviews to inform iterative design solutions.
- Develop and maintain user personas, journey maps, site maps, and other design artifacts to align product decisions with user needs.
- Collaborate with engineers to implement designs effectively while balancing usability, security, and technical feasibility.
- Facilitate design sprints, prototyping sessions, and remote workshops to drive consensus and gather feedback.
- Document design solutions and contribute to shared component libraries for consistency across the product suite.
- Ensure designs comply with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA minimum) and incorporate security requirements into user flows.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of product design experience, with at least 2 years designing enterprise B2B or B2G applications.
- Proven portfolio showcasing complex, multi-step workflows, information-dense interfaces, and responsive design across device sizes.
- Expert proficiency in Figma and shared design libraries; strong interaction design skills.
- Familiarity with security-focused software, DevSecOps practices, and compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP or STIGs is highly desirable.
- Excellent verbal and visual communication skills to present designs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage projects across distributed teams, and thrive in ambiguous problem spaces.
- Preferred: experience designing for government, military, or highly regulated industries; familiarity with OCI registries, containers, or package management systems.
