Senior Product Designer

About the Role

As a senior product designer at Gojek, you’ll play a key role in shaping design excellence for one of our core product areas. You’ll lead a team of designers to craft seamless, user-centric experiences that impact millions of users across Southeast Asia. Working closely with Product, Engineering, and Marketing, you'll ensure our design solutions strike the right balance between user needs and business goals. In this role, you'll also contribute to scaling design systems and building a culture of creativity, inclusion, and craft quality.

What You Will Do

• Guide the end-to-end design process for your product area from discovery to delivery, ensuring a high standard of UX and UI design.
• Lead, coach, and support a team of product designers, helping them grow in craft and career.
• Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Research to define problem spaces, co-create solutions, and deliver value to users.
• Champion the use of design systems to ensure scalable and consistent experiences across platforms.
• Leverage user insights and data to drive decisions and improve usability, accessibility, and satisfaction.
• Set a high bar for design execution, giving thoughtful feedback and raising the overall quality of the team's output.
• Help improve design processes and rituals, enabling the team to work more effectively in fast-paced environments.

What You Will Need

• Has 7 years experience in product design.
• Demonstrated success in mentoring and managing designers, with a focus on growth, inclusion, and team well-being.
• Proven ability to translate complex problems into simple and elegant user experiences that drive impact.
• Comfortable working cross-functionally and navigating ambiguity alongside product and engineering partners.
• Strong portfolio showcasing deep user understanding, visual design strength, and design systems knowledge.
• Comfortable in high-growth, fast-moving environments and able to prioritize and pivot when needed.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills, you can clearly present work, rationale, and strategic thinking.
