This role focuses on designing intuitive, scalable, and trustworthy automation experiences for complex software platforms. The Senior Product Designer I will work on the Agent Platform team to shape how users discover, manage, and understand automated workflows, AI-powered steps, and agents. You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and senior designers to translate technical capabilities into clear, actionable user experiences. The position involves defining mental models, building interaction patterns, prototyping, and testing sophisticated interfaces that simplify data-rich, cross-product systems. Accountabilities:
- Own and design core automation management and oversight experiences, ensuring usability, clarity, and trust.
- Define and refine mental models that help users understand complex automation and AI behaviors.
- Develop scalable interaction patterns for navigating, inspecting, and troubleshooting data-rich systems.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to translate technical capabilities into actionable user experiences.
- Prototype, test, and iterate on interface concepts to validate design assumptions and improve overall user satisfaction.
- Contribute to long-term UX strategy, providing design leadership and ensuring consistency across multiple product surfaces.
- Partner cross-functionally to maintain coherence and quality of automation experiences across the platform.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of product design experience in complex SaaS, platform, or systems-based environments.
- Expertise in interaction design for data-heavy, admin, or platform experiences.
- Strong systems thinking with the ability to define and refine mental models for users.
- Experience collaborating with product managers and engineers to ship high-quality solutions.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate design decisions with research-backed rationale.
- Portfolio demonstrating shipped work addressing complex, cross-functional design challenges.
- Preferred: Experience designing AI-driven workflows, agentic automation systems, or contributing to a design system across multiple product areas.
