About the role
We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to own end-to-end product design across our customer-facing mobile app, internal tools, and website. You’ll be the design lead—setting foundations, making independent product and UI decisions, and partnering closely with Product + Engineering to ship high-quality experiences fast.
This role is hands-on and execution-heavy, but also expects strong design fundamentals, clear design rationale, and the confidence to propose solutions independently (not just take orders).
What you’ll do
- Lead product design end-to-end: discovery → flows → wireframes → UX + UI → prototyping → handoff → iteration.
- Build and maintain a scalable design system in Figma (components, variants, tokens, styles, naming conventions).
- Heavily leverage AI tools to accelerate ideation and generate wireframes and designs.
- Partner closely with engineering to ensure designs are feasible, align with technical implementation, and utilize existing component libraries.
- Deeply understand customer demography to incorporate best practice product discovery, user experience, interaction and visual design, navigation, prototyping, and user testing
- Establish and enforce design basics to maintain design consistency and relevancy across all platforms and designs.
- Own Figma best practices: component libraries, auto-layout, variables, tokens, responsive patterns, documentation, dev handoff.
- (Nice to have) Design animations/micro-interactions (e.g., Lottie, motion specs, interaction prototypes) and guide implementation.
What we’re looking for
- 5+ years of product design experience (mobile and/or web), with a strong portfolio showing shipped work.
- Utilization of AI tools (free or paid) to support and accelerate both planning and execution of wireframes and high-fidelity designs
- Proven experience as a lead/solo designer owning a product area or entire product design function.
- Excellent design fundamentals: information architecture, user flows, visual hierarchy, typography, spacing, usability, and interaction design.
- Deep expertise in Figma: design systems, components/variants, auto-layout, variables, libraries, prototypes, and clean documentation.
- Strong independent decision-making: can propose directions, defend with rationale, and drive clarity amid ambiguity.
- Comfortable working with engineering constraints and component-driven development (design-to-dev alignment).
- Strong communication skills: can explain decisions clearly to stakeholders and collaborate cross-functionally.
- Motion/animation skills: micro-interactions, transitions, prototyping, Lottie guidance, or motion specs.
- Experience in high-velocity environments (startups, operational products, multi-stakeholder teams).
Working style / traits we value
- Collaboration: works tightly, quickly, and efficiently with engineers and product, flat hierarchy team.
- Ownership: act like the product is yours; cares about outcomes, independently unblocks issues.
- Design taste: modern, clean, clutter-free designs accommodating a wide range of customers.
