This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior UX Designer in Brazil.
This role offers the opportunity to shape next-generation public safety applications that directly support emergency response, critical communications, and community safety worldwide. You will be part of a global UX organization focused on designing meaningful, human-centered digital experiences that empower first responders and safety professionals. Working closely with product managers, engineers, researchers, and designers, you will help define product vision and translate complex requirements into intuitive, impactful user experiences. The environment is highly collaborative and design-driven, with strong emphasis on research, usability, and end-to-end experience design. You will contribute to building scalable design systems and cohesive product experiences across a global platform. This is a high-impact role where your work directly contributes to safer communities and more effective public safety operations.
Accountabilities:
- Collaborate with product managers and engineering leads to define product strategy, requirements, priorities, and delivery timelines.
- Design end-to-end user experiences including wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and interaction models.
- Partner with researchers to understand user needs and conduct usability testing to validate design decisions.
- Contribute to the creation of a “North Star” experience vision across a suite of public safety applications.
- Work closely with a global UX team to ensure consistency, alignment, and continuous improvement of design standards.
- Communicate design concepts and rationale clearly to stakeholders, engineering teams, and leadership.
- Leverage industry best practices and design tools to deliver high-quality, user-centered solutions.
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to strengthening team design maturity.
- Participate in design reviews and iterative feedback cycles to refine product experiences.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a UX, interaction, or product designer delivering end-to-end digital solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in UX design, HCI, industrial design, interaction design, or related field.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design thinking and execution of complex digital products.
- Experience working with tools such as Figma, InVision, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar design platforms.
- Ability to clearly articulate design decisions and rationale to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of user research methods and passion for research-driven design.
- Experience collaborating in cross-functional, global product teams.
- Strong visual design and prototyping skills with attention to detail and usability.
- Experience mentoring or guiding junior designers is a plus.
- Motion design or animation experience is considered an advantage.
