This role offers the opportunity to design and shape high-impact, scalable digital learning experiences for enterprise clients, universities, and training organizations. You will lead design initiatives independently, from problem exploration through implementation, collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders. The position emphasizes user-centered design, fast iteration, and strategic decision-making, allowing you to directly influence the product roadmap and overall user experience. You will create engaging, accessible, and responsive interfaces, while mentoring junior designers and contributing to design system evolution. This is a remote-friendly role in a mission-driven, agile environment that values creativity, autonomy, and measurable impact on learners and organizations.
Accountabilities:
- Lead UX design for multiple projects, owning solutions from initial problem discovery to final implementation.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and iterative design to validate decisions and enhance user satisfaction.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define scope, explore design approaches, and deliver production-ready assets.
- Ensure consistency and quality by contributing to and evolving the design system.
- Integrate accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and inclusive design principles into all deliverables.
- Communicate design strategy and rationale effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Incorporate AI-powered features and modern tools to improve user workflows and personalization where applicable.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of UX design experience on digital products used at scale.
- Proven track record of solving complex problems with strategic, user-centered solutions.
- Proficiency with the full design toolkit, including wireframing, prototyping, high-fidelity mocks, user flows, and usability testing.
- Expert-level skills with design tools such as Figma, including components and design libraries.
- Strong visual design skills with attention to detail and pixel-perfect execution.
- Experience designing responsive web and mobile interfaces.
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS and ability to work within development constraints.
- Familiarity with AI tools and GenAI for design workflow acceleration is a plus.
- Independent ownership, collaborative leadership, strategic communication, and adaptive problem-solving skills.
