Accountabilities:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product vision, user flows, information architecture, and interaction patterns.
- Translate ambiguous requirements into actionable design solutions that balance user needs, technical feasibility, and business goals.
- Conduct design critiques, provide feedback, and mentor junior designers to strengthen team capabilities.
- Stay current with industry trends, user research insights, and emerging design patterns to inform product decisions.
- Influence product strategy through first-principles thinking and expert design judgment.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of product design experience, primarily in desktop SaaS environments.
- Expertise in UI, UX, layout, navigation, information architecture, and interaction design.
- Proven ability to break down complex, ambiguous projects into actionable tasks.
- Experience in influencing engineering, product, and company-wide design decisions.
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and design intuition to solve usability challenges.
- Experience working in early-stage startups or as a solo designer on a team.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a remote environment.
- Bonus: Experience in building or refining design systems and establishing design standards across large products.
Benefits:
- Competitive salary range of $180K–$200K in the US or CA$180K–CA$200K in Canada, plus equity opportunities.
- Fully remote role within North America, providing flexibility and work-life balance.
- Unlimited PTO with recommended vacation periods, and generous paid family leave.
- Dedicated education budget and support for professional growth, conferences, and tools.
- High-quality equipment, software, and office furniture budget for optimal productivity.
- Inclusive and collaborative work environment that values autonomy, creativity, and high performance.
