The Role

  • Craft intuitive, elegant interfaces that bring Gensyn’s compute protocol to life. Work closely with engineering and product teams to design seamless experiences for researchers, compute providers, and developers — turning complex distributed systems into tools that feel simple and human. Focus on product surfaces and help own and evolve our multi-product design system and web3 interaction patterns.

Responsibilities

  • Lead user research to uncover insights and shape user journeys
  • Design flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes in Figma with component-driven specs
  • Run usability testing and iterate quickly based on findings
  • Collaborate with engineers to ensure design fidelity and feasibility
  • Own and evolve Gensyn’s design system and interaction patterns
  • Design web3-specific flows: wallet connection, approvals, signing, deposits
  • Advocate for accessibility, clarity, and consistency across all touchpoints

Competencies

Must Have

  • 3+ years of UX or product design experience shipping production web apps
  • Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design process
  • Deep understanding of usability, accessibility, and user-centered design
  • Fluency in Figma (or equivalent tools)
  • Clear communication and collaborative mindset
  • Comfort working in fast-moving, high-autonomy environments

Preferred

  • Hands-on product experience in Web3
  • Familiarity with analytics-driven iteration and experimentation
  • Understanding of frontend implementation (HTML/CSS/JS)
  • Experience building or maintaining a design system across multiple product surfaces

Nice to Have

  • Interest in distributed systems, ML infrastructure, or cryptography
  • Hands-on experience with AI coding and prototyping tools (e.g., Cursor, Codex, Claude Code, Figma Make)
