We are seeking a highly skilled User Experience Digital Designer to craft engaging, intuitive, and student-centered digital experiences across multiple platforms and touchpoints. In this role, you will shape the look, feel, and functionality of websites, applications, and end-to-end journeys, ensuring clarity, accessibility, and usability. You will collaborate closely with designers, researchers, and technical teams to turn strategy and insights into tangible, testable designs. Accountabilities:
- Translate research findings, business requirements, and journey maps into wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
- Design innovative and highly usable experiences across websites, applications, and multi-step user journeys.
- Partner with experience designers and UX researchers to validate concepts, iterate designs rapidly, and incorporate feedback from stakeholders and users.
- Present design concepts to stakeholders, facilitating alignment and informed decision-making across teams.
- Maintain consistency by applying and contributing to shared design systems, visual standards, and accessible design practices.
- Support development teams with detailed specifications and guidance to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor’s degree in Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Web Development, or a related field.3–5 years of experience designing complex digital experiences in collaborative environments, preferably including iterative testing with users.Strong proficiency in design and prototyping tools, specifically Figma, and a solid understanding of design principles, interaction design, and usability standards.Knowledge of accessibility best practices and experience applying them in digital projects.Exceptional communication skills to articulate design decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.Ability to work in a fast-paced, iterative environment, balancing multiple priorities while maintaining a cohesive design vision.Experience in higher education or large-scale enterprise platforms is a plus.IAAP certification for web accessibility is preferred.
