You're an experienced UX/UI Game Designer with the ambition to join a world class service organization working on global hit games. You have a proven track record working on different genres and platforms and an understanding of co-development and outsourcing processes. You're ready to design AI-powered games for some of the biggest names in the game industry. We want to hear from you!
The Quest:
- Translate TV IP into UX: Adapt the show’s visual identity and "family-first" spirit into a cohesive 2D/3D art and interaction system.
- Design for Social Play: Create "spectacles" and "ice breakers" within the UX that encourage player-to-player communication and sharing.
- Complexity Reduction: Break down complex game mechanics into simple, digestible forms that minimize cognitive load for players of all ages.
- Cross-Platform Flow: Design seamless user journeys and wireframes optimized for both mobile (touch targets, legibility) and console/PC navigation.
- Prototyping & Testing: Build high-fidelity prototypes to test pacing and interaction, then iterate based on playtest feedback and player analytics.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Communicate UX visions clearly to developers and artists to ensure technical feasibility and artistic consistency.
The Skills:
- Experience: 5+ years in UI/UX, with at least 3 years specifically in game development (preferably mobile or casual genres).
- Party Game Expertise: Proven track record of designing for local/online multiplayer or social gaming experiences.
- Technical Mastery: Expert proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and implementation experience in Unreal Engine.
- Psychology & Flow: Deep understanding of player psychology, behavior, and the "Laws of UX" (proximity, similarity, etc.).
- Documentation: Ability to create detailed flow diagrams, wireframes, and UI style guides that serve as a "source of truth" for the team.
Nice-to-Haves
- Brand Experience: Previous experience working with licensed IPs (TV, Movies, or Toys).
- Motion Design: Skills in After Effects or Spine to bring UI elements to life through animation.
- AI Tools: Familiarity with generative AI (Midjourney, etc.) for rapid concept ideation.
The Reward:
- Competitive project-based compensation
- Opportunity to work on exciting and diverse projects
- Clear communication and support throughout the project duration.
- Flexibility in project timelines and deadlines.
- Potential for long-term collaboration on future projects.
- Transparent and fair evaluation of your work.
